Day 50 - Hatching a Sulcata Without The Egg

Day 50:

The shell is much more visible now! (The whitish looking part) It even has all 4 legs that kick around now. Hard to pick it up on the camera but it's sure cute to see it kick around. It's very aware of its surroundings and eyes/head follow me when I open the incubator up. Starting to look much more like a tortoise and slightly less like an alien... Loving this little guy/gal already!

I love this! It kind of reminds me of Dolly the sheep. Totally different, but the anticipation, the excitement, the fascination are all similar.
