Hi I live in the uk ( north west England ) I’ve had a real shock. While trying to find out in the local paper the funeral date of a school friend I came across the death of Hannah Bould. When I first got my tortoise he was tiny and came with runny nose syndrome. I booked in at our local vets and saw Hannah, she was lovely and said that tortoises were her passion. After weeks of medication Charlie pulled through. We became friends and kept in touch for a while, then she seemed to disappear. I know that she had Lupus but I don’t know if that was the cause of death. It’s such a shame she was only 48 and a really good reptile vet, which are hard to find. RIP .
