Hi all!
Initially, I was thinking shell rot, but after a gentle bath, I am wondering if this is simply shedding? Has a healthy appetite. Eyes are clear. I found a full scale in the water, came off as a whole, not in pieces. All scales seems to be coming loose. This little one is about a year old. Wild born and recently turned over to me. I keep it in brackish water from its natural habitat, but changed about once a week and initially filtered through paper towel to get the bits out of the water. It has a more than sufficient basking spot to get out of the water fully and dry out (which I have seen it do quite frequently), currently no light though, and temperature is consistent 70. It eats a combo of worms, commercial pellets, and freeze dried krill/shrimp.

Thoughts on how to proceed?
Thank you all!

Looks like shedding to me. It'll need rough surfaces to scratch it's shell against and a basking light as soon as you can.

Thank you! I am really hoping. When I first looked and saw the one scale, I was worried. Once he was dry and I was able to get a better look (when I took the pictures), I started thinking it looked more like shedding.
