Did my tortoise poop out a worm?

I'm not so sure what this is, I'm concerned it might be a worm. I left Cashew to soak and came back after he defecated, and this was wrapped around his leg. Not too sure if it is a worm or not. The rest of the stool and what had separated in the water did not have anything moving or worm-like. He had romaine, yellow squash, bananas, cherry tomatoes, and a little bit of green beans these past few days. Never happened before. I have pumpkin that I can feed him to help deworm if it is a worm. It was not moving either, last pic is my thumb for size reference.

That brown stringy thing does not look like the type of internal parasitic worm that animals/reptiles get in their GI track.

I can't tell if that is undigested plant matter or a worm. Take a stool sample to a tortoise vet if you are concerned.

He is an elongated tortoise, I had a stool sample checked a few months ago by our vet and he was clear. Just had regular amoebas.
