Disinfectant for small wound?

My Russian tortoise appears to have hurt herself somehow and has a very small wound on the top of her head. It is almost like one of the scales is coming off. Is there a good way to disinfect/treat the wound to prevent it from becoming infected. I have a lot of human first aid at home. Not sure what's appropriate for my reptile friends tho so advice is appreciated. Thanks,

You can use Neosporin on it.

Neosporin, as suggest, could work. You could wipe it off with a weak Iodine/Betadine solution. Weak as in 15-water/1-parts iodine if your putting it that close to the eyes.
