I think the first one is prickly sow thistle - edible

I think the second one is creeping charlie - not edible

Do you know if the second one gets purple flowers? if so then it is creeping charlie.

There are no flowers at this time of year on either plant, so I don't know! Thanks for the replies. I did wonder if the 2nd one was a wild Geranium.
