Has anyone watched this show https://www.nationalgeographic.com/tv/dr-ks-exotic-animal-er/ ? I watched it for the first time yesterday and they had a big Sulcata that had escaped his owners yard after a hurricane had blown down his fence. The tortoise (George) had gotten run over by a car and it's shell was severely broken. They used screws and wires to piece what they could back together and then after it had healed as much as possible, they had a 3D printed shell cover made for him. It was pretty cool what they could do to save him! Just thought, if you hadn't seen it, it might be something of interest to this group. It was a very interesting technique they used and he made a full recovery. :)

Yep, saw that episode! From what I’ve heard, she’s a great tortoise vet :)

Yes I have seen her show and some sulcattas. I missed the one you are talking about. She has a sulcatta herself at home.

Love that show! One episode she brought her tort in to give another a blood transfusion which saved its life. It was quite fascinating to see, apparently her tort has donated blood to save others before.

Her office is full of rabbits for adoptions and she was primarily an avian vet.
Most if her clients had large birds.
There was also a large fishtank.
Lots going on there years ago.
I wonder if the prices went up with her celebrity?
