earwigs in my outdoor tort table?

Here in idaho, earwigs are everywhere. And every time I move my torts water dishes or log hides, I notice a couple of them "hanging out" with my torts. Should I be worried? Can they harm them in anyway?

Also, I read online that if I take citronella oil, clove oil, and cinnamon oil and dilute them with water in a spray bottle it will naturally repel earwigs... are any of these essential oils harmful to my torts? Like, could I spray down the legs of my tort table (and not directly where my torts are) with the mixture without harming my torts at all? Or should I not even be worried at all?
I want to be safe rather than sorry.
Thanks in advanced!
