Greetings, I just finished up our indoor enclosure to over-winter our EBTs. They really seem to enjoy it so far, and are having fun exploring both the water and cave features.

What are these turtles doing right now ? Have they gone down for the season or are they still up? What is the area like for their brumation?

Here's a quick picture of one of the males as he dug in down into the muddy area of the enclosure. He was down in there for a long time, then later I saw him poking his back out looking about. I have bright, dark, hot, cool, wet, dry, and moist spots for these guys.

image.jpg image.jpg Greetings, haven't posted too much here, but our EBT's are doing well even now in these long frigid February days. Ive been soaking them every weekend give or take, plenty of red wrigglers being consumed along with other natural bugs n critters that are attracted to their water n feeding areas.

Heres a pix of the female getting her long Sunday soaking.

Lets hope for a quick Spring so they can all get back outside to mother nature!

One of my baby turtles is doing that too. You could easily miss his little tiny head peaking out the substrate. Its no wonder you never see them walking through the woods.

First pix is the female digging down in warm moist soil after her soaking and looking for some new red wrigglers.....

Nice large male EBT, enjoying his soak, and a nice long neck stretch!

This is one of my nice large EBT males, he likes to hide down in his caves.
