Hello Everyone!
I take my Russian tort outside to roam around at least once a day, I noticed that he loves to roam and hide in the garden. We have tons of plants growing in our garden but I cant remember what they are called and since we have not tended to our garden this year yet there are wild weeds growing also. I have noticed even when I feed my tort before I take him outside he still loves to munch on the plants and weeds that grow in the garden. I was just wondering if that it is safe for him to eat the plants, wild weeds and flowers in the garden or should I keep him away from them? I don't want him to get sick.

You need to know what it is he's eating and he needs an enclosure. The enclosure can be the whole garden, just makes sure it is escape proof and safe. Roaming loose will eventually lead to disaster.

If you don't know what something is, I would not let him have access to it. You can post pics or take samples to a local garden center for plant ID help.
