Edible bedding

I have a 3 year old russian horse field tortoise and I was wondering if edible bedding would be any good for him please?

What do you mean, what kind of bedding?
No it shouldn't. Hay is the only bedding I know of that's edible and it shouldn't be used as a substrate
Orchid bark, fir bark or coconut coir should be used.

I mean this stuff I currently use a mixture of Coco coir soil and top soil but was wondering if this any good just for a corner even on top of his usual substrate mix?

No I wouldn’t encourage him to eat substrate, Russians aren’t grass eaters anyway so this isn’t appropriate.
