Hi, I have 2 box turtles at the moment and I will likely be getting either a red or yellow foot tortoise or an elongated tortoise in the next couple months. I am wanting to grow some plants that can be used in indoor enclosures for natural shade/hides and aren’t harmful if they are munched on for my box turtles as well as the tortoise I’m going to be getting in the next month or so. I also wouldn’t mind having plants in there that can be used as a food source if they so desire. Hopefully some of you can point me in the right direction.
Thanks

I've heard Pothos is okay and it does fine with little light.

www.thetortoisetable.org.uk is a good guide to tort safe plants.
You can also buy packs of seeds specifically for tortoise food which need to be grown in chemical free soil.
