Hello All !!

I am new. I joined this site to take advantage of what I am sure will be a wealth of information.

I currently REALLY want to get an Egyptian Tortoise, my first and only one I believe I bought in 2001 from Riperian Farms, I think it was Richard Fife. I think total cost was like $250 or something crazy.

I'm looking for another..the only places I'm finding that have them in stock so far are way out of my price range. I'd do up to $600.

I know Turtle Source has one for $1,100 right now but I can't afford that one.

Any suggestions? I really love Egyptians.

$250!
That's a steal.
I paid that much and a little more for some of my first 20+ years ago.

A day or two ago there were some for 575.00 on Kingsnake.com very expensive these days. There are no more in the wild of Egypt and very few in Libya and surrounding countries. Before long they will all be 1000.00 or more in the future probably more.Just a matter of time.
