Hello to all.

Thank you for accepting me to the forum.

I have one pair of elongated tortoises (Indotestudo elongata). I've been incubated the first clutch eggs for 160 days. And other 2 batches are 60 and 14 days old respectively.

I recently candle them for the first time but I could see only red-yellow color for the first batch and light yellow color for the second and third batches..

Is it normal for this species eggs that you cannot find any blood vessels and chalk?

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely,

Choi

Are these the first clutches for this female? Last year my leopard laid four clutches. They were her first ones, non were fertile. This year is looking alot better.

Hi thank you for the comment.
No. She is 9 year old and its definitely not her first time as she is proven breeder when I got her last year.
There arent much info and images about this species on the web...
