Not sure if this is the right area for this question, but here goes. What is a good size for an indoor (winter) enclosure for an adult EBT? I'm planning on getting a Pyxidea (Keeled Box Turtle) and am told their husbandry is much like the EBT. Max length of the animal could be 7 inches, unfortunately most likely WC adult.

I would say at least a 75 gallon or larger. I don't know much about the Asian box turtles but look at care guides and natural history of the particular species you decide. I find that a lot of times care guides don't match what is know of species' natural history though that is highly variable. The natural history will give you something to compare the guide to.

I think that this is a semi aquatic species. You might need to design one that's 1/2 water and 1/2 land. Good luck.

Thanks so much for your replies! Right now I'm researching everything I can find and am getting contradictory info for sure!
