The Gulf Coast Turtle & Tortoise Society list the flowers as edible: http://www.gctts.org/WS/WS.php/Public/TurtleFriendlyPlantList

The Arizona Game and Fish Department lists it as a plant suitable for planting in desert tort enclosures: http://www.azgfd.gov/w_c/tortoise/documents/NativePlantsforDesertTortoises_2008.pdf

The Tortoise Group also lists it as a plant suitable for planting for tortoises: https://www.tortoisegroup.org/infosheets/infosheet21.pdf

Whether any of these sources are actually trust worthy though, I can't say.

Good searching.
The first one seems to suggest that the flowers are edible but not the fruit and leaves.
The second one that it's fine at least for desert tortoises.
The third one, indeed seems to suggest it's good, though it adds broad leafed variety, not a vine.
Thanks, Sarah, interesting.

Tecoma stans is not known to be poisonous in whole, or part. In fact, the larger family is is a member of, Bignoniaceae, is almost devoid of dangerous members.
