Exo Terra - Plantation Soil

I have bought Exo Terra - Plantation Soil for my horsefields tortoise and i am leaving it for a week in a bin bag to dry out ...

Will this be ok for him ?

The coco coir I buy for my torts at my local pet shop is labeled Plantation Soil. I can't remember if it is the same brand, but it sounds familiar.
