Is a 165 watt exo terra solar glo light to strong for baby sulcatas

I dont think so. Everyone told me that my Mega Ray 160 watt was fine as long as I raise it higher up. But I think everyone prefers the 100 watt.:)

If you want to use the Solar Glo bulb from Exo Terra, go with the 125watt bulb. That's what I have, and its about 13" above the substrate and I get the perfect temp gradient with that setup.

Hey no problem. I have it about 18'' above and its temp is perfect. I got that one because everyone said mega ray is the best. They said to get the 100 watt but they are on back order so I got the 160 watt. The guy at mega ray said it would be fine just put it higher up.

MVB is not good for human consumption. Now that I've said that, a 100w MVB wil be fine for a 4ft by 4ft enlosure.
