Alright so I am getting ready to replace Zelda's old 30 gallon tank. (She grew faster than I expected) I am planning on getting one of the fancy front opening exo terra natural terrariums but I am not sure which one to get. She isn't all that active unless I take her out so I was leaning towards getting the large X low but with her hide and everything I fear it wouldn't give her room to bask on it if she wanted to so I was thinking of the large x wide. Anyone worked with either one of these terrariums that can tell me if spending the extra $80 is necessary. The cost for my pets usually wouldn't be much of an issue but I also have to buy a table to hold it as well and I don't expect that to be very cheap.

Well the absolute minimum size exo terra you should get for a beardie is a 36x18x18 not only due to the cage decorations but you have to have about 10in from the lights to the basking spot. I have 2 of these for my juveniles and they work ok for their current size.
I found though that these just arent big enough for an adult. I think you should just get a 90gal fish tank. This is what I have for my adult and it is so much better for her and its cheaper. Petco usually has a$1 per gal sale so the 90g tank is only $90. Or you can find them on craigslist for cheap.

Thanks Thalatte, I too feel it would have been too small so I took your suggestion and looked across craigslist and came with

http://sacramento.craigslist.org/for/4068376914.html
http://sacramento.craigslist.org/hsh/4071043662.html
and http://sacramento.craigslist.org/for/4078255939.html

Did any of these stand out as better than the other? The biggest one is a 65 gal but it seems to be a weird shape.(Maybe it is the angle)I didn't see any 90 gallon tanks unfortunately so most of these are in the 50's but they are still better than what I have. Before I make my decision I found an aquarium store nearby that I will check out in hopes of getting a better deal. Also the reptile expo is coming up maybe I can get a good deal there. The only issue is that I would need a stand for the aquarium which will likely put me back a bit of money. A few of the ones listed have stands included which is a big plus for my budget.

Is a good looking tank but it would come with a bearded dragon which I cannot house.

the second and the last one would be decent sized. Slightly narrow for an adult but still doable. The 65 wouldnt really work as it is a taller rather than longer fish tank so it is good for an arboreal small lizard but not a beardie.

The first one would also be ok but what would you do with the fish?

Lol I didn't see it had fish. Thats why I didn't post http://sacramento.craigslist.org/for/4077828402.html
I liked this one as well.
If need be and I did get the fish my uncle who lives about an hour away would likely take them. I am sure I could do something with the fish. The last one was my favorite as well and it has a nice price with the stand.

It's a 90gal which is basically the same size as a 55 but 6in deeper.

Yes it's tile. Rough slate tile as it is extremely easy to clean and it wears down their nails so I don't get as many scratches.
