Ive been away for three days and have came home to find my poor baby Darwin with a poorly eye. Its swollen shut and weeping.
My other half assures me he has done eveything i usually do but its terrain is a sand soil mix so i can assume eye infections can be caused due to that.
The breeded told me that taking it to a vets is a waste of time and told me to use water and then reccommended a treatment for human eye infection that is available from any chemist. I cant remember the name though. Any ideas anyone? Xx

If its just the one eye, its more than likely an injury rather than an infection. Just flush out the eye with sterile saline solution and then dab on a bit of antibiotic eye ointment.
