Female? Male? I’m thinking 1 female and 1 male.

Hello! My leopard tortoises are around 3 years old and over 6 inches now. I was curious if I’m correct in my assumptions of having one male and one female. They are in completely separate tanks btw.

Top one appears male, the bottom one is harder to tell (at least for me). That second one could still go either way, IMHO. From what I can see in those pix, the supracaudal on the first one appears to curl inward as I would expect in a male, but the second one's does not curl inward, at least not yet. That, and the smaller tail make me less sure of the second one's gender than that of the first one.
