Hello, I bought a Sulcata a few months ago and 2 weeks ago, she laid an broken egg, a week after that, I pick her and noticed that she haves an egg retained (See the photo) what can I do???? A week has been passed and nothing changed.
She is small, around 32 cm, but the previous owner said me that she already laid eggs last year ...

Wow. That is a problem. This species does not normally lay until they are 17-18 inches, at a minimum. I've had some not lay until they were 22-23 inches. I heard of one 15 incher laying successfully, but that is pretty unusual.

This is a situation that will require the help of an experienced reptile vet. I think your tortoise is egg bound and this is potentially fatal. Has this girl had access to a male?

Hello, thank you for your answer.
Here in Spain Sulcatas usually start laying eggs at 40 cms (Maybe because of the weather?) But I have never seen a 30 cm Sulcata laying eggs up to now.
I have a group of adults Sulcatas, but she is separated from the group, because she haves mocus since I bought her.
Anyways, im pretty sure that the previous owner kept her with a few other males.
She just had a hot water bath and she is trying to lay the egg but she cant (Same happened with the broken egg, she took several hours to lay it).
