Hi I have these ferns are all over florida and I want to make sure it's safe for my little Chevy to eat here is a link to the pic

I've always thought that ferns were toxic, however when I just now looked it up online it says that most ferns are edible, and quite tasty if eaten in the young stage.

I believe your picture depicts a Boston fern. And this is what I found on Bostons: Boston Fern can cause gastrointestinal upset, lethargy, vomiting, loss of appetite, and diarrhea.

This is talking about cats, however. I'd be willing to bet that it won't effect a tortoise.
