Fig Leaves For Redfoots?

I believe that I read somewhere that the leaves are also good for torts, anyone on here feed their redfoots or other torts these types of fig leaves?

I came across a few sites that say that they are a good source of calcium and I also emailed a long time red foot breeder and he told me that they are a-o.k. Another type of fig/ficus tree is toxic however, luckily they look nothing alike. I have such a huge tree that fig leaves would be something that I could have in abundance year 'round so that would be ideal for a free food source.

A friend of mine feeds his sulc fig leaves, since he has a tree nearby, but I do not know about RF's eating them sorry.

I have feed my greeks and DT fig leaves when I can get them. They seem to like them as much as mulberry leaves.
