Goes to show you cheap enclosures never work out . Why would you put a Tortoise that big in a horse trough ? Needs to build a heated house outside .

Wow so glad the tort is okay. Another reason to not use hay or straw as a substrate. Way to dry and can catch on fire very quickly

With that nice big fenced back yard I wonder why the tortoise was in the garage in a rubber tub.

That is why I would NEVER use the clamp that comes with the light fixture. She is lucky she was rescued before she was seriously burned or killed.
