First Annual My Pic Was Too Small Calendar

Maybe no calendar.lol
Needless to say, I was disappointed when I got a lesson today in megapixels.
I personally think that if you submitted your pic on time, even though it was too small you should be able to send another one.
Rather than gripe and moan , maybe we can make lemonade from lemons!
I am posting my pic that I originally submitted.
I would love to see all of the other "rejects" that didn't make it.
Maybe we can have a vote? Yes that's it! Lets do it!

Here are the rules. lol
One pic allowed.
0 to 100 million megapixels.
Please "include" a tortoise in your picture.
Submissions must be in before 10/30/13.
Voting starts on Halloween and will end one week later.

If you are already entered in the "real" contest, I am sorry. This is for rookies only. No seasoned veterans!

Did you happen to see the post I made in one of the submission for the calendar threads that I was planning on doing our monthly contest with just folks who had entered the calendar contest and were to small to make the cut? I mean if you would rather do one like this, that's fine with me.

Plus did you double check that you had no copy of your first picture that was big enough to use?

I also hear you about the disappointment, in the past I too have had pictures that were too small to make the cut. It's a real bummer.

When I do the contest, I will be going back into the email where you all sent your pictures for the contest and taking them from there. (Just so all is clear) It will be sorta like a normal monthly contest, except entries have already been closed (all photos will be ones entered, but too small for the calendar contest)
