Been going thru a turtle/business deal for the past few months that has been an extra "unneeded" expense over the past year.. with no return - and now in the past 24 hours the other party is threatening to pull-out leaving me with a debit in the "turtle-budget"! And they aren't concerned about anything other than their part in it.. not giving enough time to let the deal "mature" .. as it needs to be. So I won't be adding anything tonight.. as promised... [ need to 'no-brainer' tonight ]

Finally... after much "cleaning-off" the plate - the plan is to continue the story TONIGHT!

Don't go away yet please?

May 4.. and another clutch - she's a machine!

She started this one at 11:09 p.m.-



First egg didn't come until 12:28 a.m.



And 2 eggs went into the incubator at 12:39 p.m. -



{ she's going to do this two more times - why did I let her go??? -

June 9th @ 8:29 p.m. -



First egg @ 10:46 p.m. -



Second egg @ 10:49 p.m. -



And another one @ 10:54 p.m. -



And in less than 3 weeks she will do this for the last time in 2005 -- how many clutches and how many eggs is that? I may have counted wrong before!

Finally... this is the series I've been wanting to show - even tho' I missed her digging.. these eggs being laid have to be the "best-timed" .. from early on:

The first egg showing! 11:04 p.m. -



And this second one..

Four minutes later .. 11:08 p.m. -



Two absolutely HUGE eggs went into the incubator that morning.... she actually had babies hatch before she was done laying eggs that year -





See why I called her "SUPER-Spots" ?!?

Your record keeping must be impeccable to have all that detail and illustration. I've never seen female in the act of laying eggs, much less the actual "birth" of an egg. Thank you for sharing your SuperSpots with us.
