Hi. I have 3 babies. 2 are only a few months old and the other is a rescue that is about 3yrs old . My question is I have weeds in my yard an. I want to know if they are safe for my guys. The weeds are. Florida pusley, florida dry Mary or tropical chickweed, longstalked phyllanthus, common beggarticks, and basket grass. I had a weed expert name them but he couldn't tell me if they were edible for the tortoises. I want to make sure they get the right foods. Thanks

Hello and welcome.

I don't know any of those, but here is a list of good stuff:

Also since this is your first post, now would be a good time to make sure you've got the right care info. Most of the info that is out there is old, outdated, based on incorrect assumption about the wild, and just plain wrong.

All the grasses are good. I'd skip the carrots and beets, and go easy with the squash. Once in a while is okay on the squash, but it shouldn't be a regular item.

Sounds like you need more weeds and leaves. Mulberry and grape leaves are good. Some spineless opuntia would be good too.

Hay is not good for needing as it is much too dry. These babies hatch during the start of the rainy season in South Africa. Overly dry captive conditions are un-natural and not good for them. Its all explained in those links.

I forgot about the spineless opuntia. They get that too.they are outside most of the day. I keep them inside at night because of how small they are.

Outside all day is not good for babies. It's all in that care sheet.
