ANY members either living nearby area code 33322 or visiting this summer are welcome to contact me and get clippings from my out of control Muscatine grape vine.
It goes dormant every fall and every spring comes back and grows another 50% larger.
It is a prolific grape maker....Self polinator.
It' In the "Carlos" Muscatine variety. Originally transplanted from my property in Northern South Carolina.

Yes... nice offer..and here’s our Maryland Muscadine..as you say, they really throw out a lot of new growth. I pruned a bunch yesterday to an eagerly awaiting Sully.. I hope some folks can take you up on your vines. :)

These grow well in Maryland? I may need to start this!!
Most regions have some sort of indigenous grape plant.
Florida has a bunch of FOX grapes. Long, thin vines and tiny grapes.
However, I transplanted these because I like the actual grapes and now I don't have to fight off the deer to get them. (Now I have friggin parrots to deal with.) I didn't bring them here for my tortoises. And the tortoises don't always eat them.
Anyway, there are already thousands of them out there. Plenty to go around.
