Mazuri changed the formula to smaller pellets. Sheldon won't eat them any more! It used to be his favorite food. I will mail this bag to anyone that wants it. Otherwise it's going in the trash.

They didn't change, they added a new recipe. When buying Mazuri Tortoise Diet one has to now be careful to buy the one you want. The new, smaller kibble is called Mazuri LS. Not many of our members' tortoises like the LS.

They still sell the older kind too. Why not find some of it and mix the new stuff with it until it's used up? If you keep it in the freezer it will stay fresh much longer too. Maybe even try it down the road when he's bigger or just mixed in with some of his faves.

It's available at feed and tack stores that sell livestock supplies.
It's the Red label bag. It's sold in very large bags at not much more than $1.25 a pound!
It keeps fresh for months in a sealed tote.

Probably plug ya up tighter than a cork! Actually, I would try it with my torts. I also could ship out some samples to others.

My tortoises have eaten both formulas so I think it is very tortoise specific as to which will eat the LS. The LS is also more expensive then the original.
