Looking to re home a tortoise that my bother has had for 5+ years.
Don't have a while lot of background information about the tortoise. But I am looking to re home to a place that can give them the TLC they deserve.

Will come with a wooden pen, water dish, food dish, and a heat lamp with pole.

I hope he finds a lovely new home not too far from where you are.
When you offer free torts look out for replies from very new members who only join to get free torts to sell on for profit. Sadly it is a risk There are some new members who are genuinely interested in rehoming but you could end up paying for shipping for someone else to make money.

It can be difficult to work out who's genuine or not. Look at their posting history and ask for information about if they have other torts (they should never be kept in pairs but groups in large spaces are better) or dogs which could also be risky. Maybe even see if they have pics of where/how they will be kept.
Long term active members tend to be genuine and already experienced with tort keeping.
