Call for Scholars, Researchers and Professionals in Biological Sciences



Join the ranks of eminent scientists and engineers in the Fulbright Program, the most widely recognized and prestigious international exchange program in the world, supported for more than half a century by the American people through an annual appropriation from the U.S. Congress and by the people of partner nations.



The Fulbright Scholar Program offers teaching, research or combination teaching/research awards in over 125 countries for the 2016-2017 academic year. Opportunities are available for college and university faculty and administrators as well as for professionals, artists, journalists, scientists, lawyers, independent scholars and many others.



Of the nearly 600 awards being offered this year, currently there are some 71 awards available in the field of biological sciences. Moreover, there are over 365 All Discipline awardsthat welcome teaching and/or research proposals in this field and others, including interdisciplinary projects. Exciting opportunities are available in countries around the globe, including but not limited to:



Cote d’Ivoire: Award #6019 Agriculture, Biological Sciences or Environmental Sciences
Mexico: Award #6505 Science and Technology
Romania: Award #6310 Fulbright-Stefan cel Mare University in Suceava
United Arab Emirates: Award # All Disciplines: Teaching or Teaching/Research
Australia: Award #6071 Fulbright Distinguished Chair in Advanced Science and Technology (DSTO)
Bangladesh: Award #6431 Fulbright-Fogarty Postdoctoral Award in Public Health


In addition to several new program models designed to meet the changing needs of U.S. academics and professionals, Fulbright will be offering more opportunities for multi-country grants through enhanced global and regional awards.
