Did you put him on your shoulder or did he climb. If he climbed he is a VERY VERY good hiker.

My cat thought he was the king until little Billy (who is about 1/18 of his size)started to chase my cat round the house. Today I almost had a heart attack when I was sitting in the garden with Billy and Toffee(my cat) batted the edge of his shell. There was no harm done and Billy just ate through the whole thing(as usual) but I leapt up and chased Toffee al the way back into the house.

I know. I love the way my tiny tortoise can scare a massive beast that has brought in 10 mice in the past 2 weeks.

My tort never climbs on me. He just goes round. Or he hopes I will move out of his way.
