Does any member of this forum know of anyone hatching out galapagos torotises? I know of two breeders that use to, however not sure anymore.

I only know of Captive Bred Wildlife Foundation that breeds Galapagos.
But these creatures require a federal permit. A baby goes for $3,500 from last time I emailed him.

Here's the contact information:

I revisited his website, $3,000. His adult breeding colony looks great.

The price on his website is outdated (March 2005). I just got his email today and it's $3500 now :D

Got this info from him.
"Right now we have South African Leopards Babies @ $350 this is the very rare subspecies.
Galapagos require a federal permit, babies $3,500. We expect some baby Aldabras next spring, they will be about $2,000."

Jeff is who I got my Leopard (Pardalis Pardalis) from. Very easy guy to deal with, and he possesses a wealth of experience. Just FYI.

I spoke with Jeff once! HELLUVA guy! If I had a quarter of a million to drop on Galaps...his herd would be mine! Problem is...my sullies would always come first, and sullies are quite adept at killing galaps!
