I am wondering if my Banjo here is a male or female? Banjo will be 3 years old this summer! Also, what are these spots on the plastron?

It's probably still too early to tell at only 3 years old, but the tail folded sideways in the first picture seems like a male thing to do..

I tried zooming in to look at the spots, but your pictures are very low resolution so I don't know if we'll be able to tell for sure. They look to me like part of the plastron has been scraped/rubbed off. Maybe from frequently climbing over rocks that are too big to just walk over.

The spots look normal and nothing to worry about.
I think it is still to young. The side way tail does seem to be a male thing mostly but not always. But the smaller looking tail is that of female. Give it another year and check then.
