My understanding is that using pesticides in my Sulcata enclosure is not safe. Correct me if I am wrong. If that is the case, how do I get rid of the fire ants who now have a small home on his hiding mound? The only way I know without pesticides is to poor boiling water on the area but this kills the grass.

Orange oil, molasses, and water. Mix approximately 1/4 - 1/3 cup of orange oil and 1/4 cup molasses into a gallon of water. Disturb the ant mound till they start swarming and spray away. Repeat the process in about 24 hours. Works pretty darn great.
