Hello and welcome. How do you know his age? The very first captive bred ones here in the U.S. were in 1979 at the San Antonio Zoo making them 33. Was Gilligan an adult import way back then? He sure looks good.

Mary Anne of course =P I'd post video of them two together but it would be clean for about 20 seconds LOL, Gilligan doesn't give her a moments rest!

You know Tom, I'm not sure on his exact age, his previous care provider told me his approximate age.

Sulcatas ROCK!
He weighs anywhere from 160 - 175 pounds
He is 3 ft long from beak to end
and 2 ft wide
He sleeps in a Doghouse when it gets cold here in the Arizona Desert, but 90% of the time he sleeps wherever he chooses to.
he has been fed a solid diet of Alfalfa hay, Bermuda grass, pumpkins, watermelon and apples as treats on occasion.
He loves to be sprayed down with the hose, and he has free range of our pretty big yard. so he gets plenty of exercise.
