I've read on the reptiles magazine website that golden Greeks need to be kept very hot and dry, the smallest amount of continued moisture will cause shell rot. Also, temperatures should not fall below 75 degrees ever. I have heard from my folks in Israel that the tortoises there (golden Greeks) are only seen during spring/winter when it is cold/chilly and very rainy. During the summer, they are all hiding and are seldom seen. Also, what's some good substrate. I was thinking a soil, playsand, coir mix
