I normally bring both of our tortoises out of hibernation (plastic crate in the garage) the first week of March.

It was so nice here on Sat and Sun morning, I decided to bring them out. I bet neither one is happy with me right now. It's been chilly all day.

The weather has been so crazy here in So Cal. one day cold and the next hot. I leave mine in their plastic crate in the shed until they are moving around and eyes are open. I begin checking them daily starting in March. Mine are still eyes closed. But they are scratching around a little more often now, so I don't think it will be long before they are up. And Yes today is quite chilly. Right now at 2 pm it is only 56 f.

I agree the weather has been crazy, even here in AZ. One day cold, next day warm. Although I hope this summer will not be hot, since over all it has been a warm winter with little rain.
