Good seed mixture

I am planning my outdoor enclosure for spring and am wondering were i can get a good seed mixture from for redfoot tortoises. i looked at the russian seed mix from carolina pet supply and not sure if that is a good one. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I've been looking into this too. I don't know about a mix for redfoots specifically, but I know Terry K. in Tennessee plants a whole forest of rose of sharon for them. The leaves and flowers are good for them to eat, the plant makes great cover and shade and its a seasonally dormant plant, so it should survive your winters too.

Luckily I have plantain and chickweed and dandelions growing in my yard. Thanks for the help
