Granulated cork bark

    i saw this stuff on amazon being sold as substrate and was wondering if it was safe?

    I feel like any substrate can get moldy with the right conditions spot cleaning helps with this tho.

    My concern about cork is that it is not absorbent enough to hold the moisture required to raise humidity.

    If it were able to soak up liquid then it would be useless for wine bottles - think about it!

    I don't think it is suitable therefore.
