Our little Greek likes to fall asleep under his basking light...95*F.
But then that means he is at the opposite side of his enclosure for the heat light for the rest of the night (ambient room air temp 68*.)
Should I move him to under the heat (red) light after he falls asleep?
He wakes up before his basking light goes on in the morning (by about 15 minutes) and walks over to the red heat light until his basking light comes on.
Our set up is:
36 inch x 20 inch rubbermaid opaque clear container with...
left side heat light 74*F, middle UVA/UVB light no heat 85*F, right side has the UVA/UVB basking light 95*F....
shallow water and his food are smack in the middle. Hides on cool and warm end.
Still on paper towel substrate.
Thanks!
