Im planning on adopting either a greek or redfoot tortoise. Both are 88 dollars. The tortoise would be housed outdoors, in nice sunny ca weather

If your normal humidity is low then the redfoot would be uncomfortable.

Alright. How could I make him feel more comfortable? Like moss hides ect.? Shes a really nice big female, so if i could id love to jump at the chance to bring her home, but not at the expense of her health

Do you have natural water on your property or is it more arid?

I would say a Greek would do better in your environment. Redfoot require humidity. Talk to 2NTORTS
