Hi everyone! We live in MA, USA with two Greek tortoises, one approximately 10 years old, another approximately 12 years old. I was wondering if anyone might be able to ID the sub-species? We were told the 10 year old was male and the 12 year old was female. For the life of me, I can't see any difference between them that descriptions suggest I should see (they both look female to me). I would greatly appreciate any help in confirming. I put their sexes in quotes in the images to tell which is the 10 year old "male" and the 12 year old "female". We have no plans to breed, but I'm curious if we even could!?

Thanks!

Both look female from what I can see in the photos.

@rockfarm post your sub-species identification request in the Greek tortoise section of the forum. Its under mediterranean tortoises. There are several very knowledgeable breeders that can help answer your question.
