Hi guys, my name is Danny. I have been keeping reptiles for several years. Right now I keep a Juvenile water monitor, a few geckos, some bearded dragons, a kingsnake, and recently added some carpet pythons. I am finishing up a large "arboreal" enclosure and will add a pair of green tree monitors when that is finished. My wife, MJ takes care of our 3 dogs, 4 birds and now 2 tortoises. We share the load but it generally breaks down like that. We represent 2 of the different kinds of animal people. MJ likes to dote and use baby talk (cringe!) I don't even like to use names unless there is a logical necessity and I don't usually interact other than in the course of daily care.
(MJ) and I have been talking off and on about adding some tortoises to our collection for a good while, so last May we pulled the trigger and acquired a young Sulcata. My wife named her Shelly, she is about 4.5" and close to 1/2lb. now and thriving. Last week I brought home a large male, she dubbed him Sherman. We don't know age, he is almost 73 lbs., about 25" long. Eating well and pooping like a champ.
