Cute. That can't be the yard your tort roams daily though, it looks too nice. No bare spots, no mashed down trail and the vase and statue are intact lol.
You do know about the dangers of torts and dogs though right?

It is his yard, lol, he's not destructive at all! The only destructive thing he's done is ate our baby pumpkin from that small patch you see by the pot in the background. My pugs are only outside maybe 5 minutes at a time otherwise they are inside, they really don't bother Spots just the occasional sniff. Anything particular you are referring to?

Wow, I'm surprised your yard looks that good yet. I guess wait and see when he's bigger.
Yes, the dogs and tortoise should never be left alone. When they are out there needs to be constant supervision. The best trained dogs will chew on a tortoise. Even dogs have done it, even killing a tortoise after years of not seeming to bother it. Best to give your tort a totally separate yard from the dogs. Seen too many oops made with a family member letting the dogs out and forgetting about it and the tort pays for it.

He’s so cute and pretty soon he’ll become a huge bulldozer bigger than your pugs lol.

Thank you! We almost lost him as a hatchling due to improper care instructions from the breeder. Y'all helped me pull off a miracle and bring him back from deaths door! We are forever grateful for all the expert advice that is shared here

Take this same photo a year, then 5, then 10 years from now and watch the size ratio change!
