Have you had to give your tortoise shots?

small tortoise has an upper respiratory infection and I have to give her shots for the next 7 days. they told me it was a two person job, but even then it was so difficult to hold her legs out to get towards the base of her legs for a shot. Now that she's out and about a bit more today I see that we gave her the shot more in the scaly part of her leg. Any tips on how we can do a better job?

If you can post pics of the tortoise and enclosure and give us an accurate reading of the temps, basking? Over all temp? Night temp? And humidity? We can help you fix what caused him to get sick to begin with.
Then give us the name of the meds the vet has him on.
