Pothos is ok on some poisonous lists, and not ok on others. If it were my tortoise, I wouldn't use pothos unless it was in a South American tortoise habitat. Pothos grows wild in South America.

Hmm...I have some in my tortoise pen. It grows wild here, and I didn't pick it out when popped up in their pen. My tortoises have never touched it.

My sulcata will not eat it but my leopard love it.

Is it something you've offered your Leopard or is it planted? This would be great for my leopard as I have several in my house. :)

I keep one of these in my pacman frog tank. But if it comes from south America is it ok to feed red footed tortoises?

I have been feeding this to my leopard for a year. No adverse reactions at all, I am just curios as to what kind of nutritional value it has. My leopard LOVES them.

It comes from the Soloman Islands and elsewhere in the south west pacific through to China but grows wild in many other places. It is often mixed up with philadendrens, they look very similar. Philadendrens are South American.

Pothos is a native food for Corucia lizards.

Epipremnum aureum is the current latin name for that plant, it is no longer considered a valid member of the genus Pothos, but still gets called that as a common name.

When I have used it as plant cover in tortoise enclosures, I have not found they will eat it, so I no longer use it, prefering plants they will eat.
