Hi guys,

I'm checking out different equipment before I purchase my baby Indian Star tort. I've a question regarding the bulbs that are going to be installed inside the vivexotic viv. As per guidelines found here on the forums, I'm trying to recreate the proper monsoon climate for the little one to develop properly. I'm no specialist when it comes to electrical fittings, etc, hence my wondering if the bulbs won't break due to heat+high humidity?

I'm looking at Arcadia pro T5 12% for UVB 24W, Arcadia basking solar flood 50W for UVA, Arcadia ceramic heater 50W, and Arcadia Jungle dawn LED (not sure about the wattage yet) for ambient lighting/plant support. Also not sure about the thermostat yet, if you have any knowledge about this, or see what would need to be changed I'd appreciate the help.

I'm trying to follow Markg84's guidelines.

Cheers in advance for the help.

I never had a bulb break due to high humidity. Only when the water, I might have been spraying actually touched the very hot bulb.
I have used mvb, fluorescent and regular incandescent along with Che.
