Brand new to this forum.

I actually do not have any tortoise yet.

After much research my wife and I have decided we want to get a sulcata. Won't be anytime soon, probably around spring time, that way we have time to get everything ready.

Also, since it's getting colder where I live, we don't feel very comfortable with shipping.

Anyways, I hope to learn as much as possible here until we finally receive our own little sulcata. Hope you all have a great night.

Both. Indoor for a bit until: 1. I move back to california. And 2. He/she is a bit bigger.
You'll want to start researching closed chamber terrarium then. Take a look at some of the pinned threads so that you can get temps and humidity just right.

Welcome to the Forum!

Sulcatas grow fast. You'll need a pretty big indoor space for a sulcata in about 3 or 4 years. When are you planning the California move?

I will be back in California no later than this time next year for sure.
